Find your way around the dashboard

What each section of a server's dashboard shows, and where to find it.

Every server you run has its own dashboard. The sidebar on the left lists its sections, in the order below, each under a heading of its own. A row holding many pages, such as Leaderboards, opens their list in place of the sidebar, with a row at its top that takes you back; a row holding a few opens to list them beneath it. To jump to one by name, open Search nav. To move to another server, press All servers.

You see only the sections your role lets you read. A section with a lock needs a bigger plan, and the pricing page shows which one. Every view shares one bar for dates and filters, and every chart works the same way.

Home

Home is where the dashboard opens. It shows how the server is doing right now: members, growth, activity and audience in one place. It is yours to arrange: star the cards you want on it. Its row in the sidebar counts the level claims and member pictures waiting for your team.

Health

Health holds the charts. Each one is cut by the hour, in the time zone set in Settings.

  • Growth shows who arrives, where from, and whether they stay: joins, leavers, retention and boosts.
  • Engagement shows how much is said, where, and by how many people, across messages, voice, reactions and replies.
  • Audience shows who the active members are and how concentrated activity is, including when in the week they are around.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards, last in Health, ranks what stands out over the date range you pick. See Leaderboards. Its boards about people sit under People:

  • Activity: the most active members.
  • Levels: members by level and XP.
  • Inviters and Invite links: which invites bring members in, which of those members stay, and who invited them.

Its boards about places sit under Places:

  • Channels: the busiest channels.
  • Emoji and Commands: the emoji and slash commands members use most.
  • Apps: the apps members show on their profiles, by the time spent in them.
  • Events: scheduled events, by how many members turned up.

What changed

What changed says what moved, and why.

  • This week flags the readings that moved last week, and under them sets the Weekly briefing. See Pulse.
  • Findings lists what stood out this week, with a change to try where a finding suggests one. Experiments, on the Findings page below the findings, measures what a change you switched on from a finding did, against the channels you left alone.
  • Impact asks whether your latest annotations moved activity. See Pulse.

A week of activity drawn as a grid: seven rows for the days, twenty-four columns for the hours, each square shaded by how busy that hour was. Two squares carry notes, a launch stream on Thursday evening and a partner raid on Saturday night, which is how an annotation names a spike.

Annotations names the spikes on your charts, so a jump in joins reads as the stream or the raid that caused it. It opens to its two pages. Timeline lists every annotation by date. Rules watches a channel you pick and marks the timeline whenever something is posted there. A rule reads only that a message landed, never its text. See Mark events with annotations.

Explore

Explore looks at one thing in detail; see Lens. Members follows a single member's activity, and Channels follows a single channel. Comparing two, and a member's levelling, open from inside them.

Rewards

Rewards sets up XP, levels and the roles members earn: Earning XP, Levels & perks, Roles and Level-ups & cards, where Images keeps the cards you design. Requests holds the level claims and member pictures waiting for your team, with how many wait. See Levelling.

Settings

Settings sits at the foot of the sidebar. Server holds the server's time zone and your data; Import imports your server's history and moves you over from another levelling bot; Team sets who on your team may open the dashboard; and Plan & billing holds your plan and how you pay for it. See Server settings and Plans and billing.
