Choose dates and filters
Pick a date range, narrow every card to some roles or channels, set the time zone, and save or share a view.
The bar at the top of each view sets what every card on it reads: a date range, and optionally some roles or channels. Change it once and every card follows.
Pick a date range
Open the date range button and choose a quick range, pick two days on the calendar, or type the start and end as YYYY-MM-DD, then press Apply range.
A quick range moves with the calendar: Last 7 days always means the last seven days, whenever you open it.
How long a range you pick decides how charts cut time. Up to two days reads hour by hour, up to about two months day by day, up to about six months week by week, and anything longer month by month. For a finer look at a long range, open a chart full screen and zoom in.
How far back you can look
Each plan shows a certain amount of history, and the pricing page says how much. Ranges that reach further back show a lock, All time among them on a plan that keeps less than everything; pressing one shows the plan that reaches it. The data is still kept; upgrading shows it again.
Your server can also be set to keep less than your plan shows, under Keep analytics for in Settings. When a range starts before the bot began recording, the top bar says so; importing your history fills that in.
Narrow by role or channel
Press Add filter and choose Roles or Channels. Tick what you want, then choose what the filter does:
- Only these: count only members with those roles, or only activity in those channels.
- Everything except: leave them out, such as bots' roles or staff channels.
Ticking a category covers every channel in it. Press Apply. Each active filter shows as a pill; press it to change it, or its cross to remove it.
Not every card can be filtered. The member count is always the whole server, for example, and joins cannot be narrowed by channel. A card that ignores an active filter says so beside its title.
Filters only change what you see. To stop recording some channels or roles altogether, use Not recorded in Settings.
Time zone
Days and hours in every chart follow your server's analytics time zone, set in Settings. It starts as the time zone of whoever set the server up.
Save a view
Saved views in the toolbar keeps the view you are on, with its date range, filters and any member or channel you picked, under a name. Open the same menu to go back to one later, or to rename or delete it.
A saved quick range stays relative, so a saved Last 30 days view always shows the latest thirty days. Card layout is not part of a saved view; it belongs to your browser, as Arrange your dashboard explains.
Each plan holds a number of saved views, shown on the pricing page. On plans with a team, tick Share with workspace to let everyone on the dashboard use a view. Only the person who shared it can change it.
Share what you are looking at
Everything in the bar is part of the page's address, so copying the address shares exactly what you see, with the same range and filters. In the saved views menu, Copy link copies it for you, and holding Shift as you press the saved views button copies it straight away. The person you send it to needs access to the dashboard to open it.
