Give perks to supporters and boosters
Needs Manager or Admin access, and levelling on. Colossus reads the role you pick; it never hands it out, takes it away or changes it.
Give a role's holders perks
- Rewards › Levels & perks › Perks by role, press Give a role perks and pick the role. Roles an integration manages, and @everyone, aren't offered.
- On the role's row, press Add to this role and pick a perk:
- Count as a level: holders count as having reached a level, and get what it gives.
- Add an XP boost: holders earn more XP, at the times and in the channels you choose.
- Give access: permissions and channel access on the role itself.
- Give a personal role: holders design a role of their own, below.
- Hand out a role: another role handed out while they hold this one.
- Press Save.
With two or more roles listed, choose whether roles further down keep the permissions, channel access and personal role every role above them gives, so each supporter tier carries the ones below it, or stand alone. Colossus adds member permissions only, and takes back only what it added when a perk lets go.
Give a personal role
- Add Give a personal role to the role, as above.
- In What they may set, pick what holders may set besides the name: a colour, a gradient, the holographic style, an icon, and Display role members separately from online members.
- Under Where personal roles sit, pick the role personal roles sit under. The default, Colossus's own role, keeps them where Colossus can manage them.
- Press Save.
Members design their role on their own Colossus page, at the site's address followed by /m/ and your server's Discord ID, on the Personal role tab. An icon is a PNG or WebP under 256 KB, or one of the server's emoji. They press Send for approval, and the design waits for your team in Review member requests.
A member who stops holding the role has their personal role taken off. Colossus keeps it, with their design, and gives it back if they qualify again. It is deleted from Discord only when the member presses Remove my role, your team resets it, or the member's data is erased.
If it doesn't work
- The role isn't in the list. An integration manages it, or it is @everyone.
- Access doesn't apply. The role sits above the Colossus role. Rewards › Roles lists each role carrying access and whether it is in step.
- Discord refuses a personal role. The bot needs Manage Roles and a role above the personal roles. Colossus tries again once that is fixed.
